‘Meson de Leyendas’ B&B is located in Valle de Bravo, approximately two hours and a half from Mexico City and one hour from the city of Toluca. Toluca is the closest city to Valle and it now offers an international airport that can serve your travel needs. It is so much more convenient to fly in and out of Toluca than from Mexico City’s International Airport, when traveling directly to Valle.
For approximately 300 pesos you can reach Valle de Bravo by taxi from Toluca, or by bus, for approximately 50 pesos. When you arrive at the bus terminal in Valle, you can get a local taxi to ‘Meson de Leyendas’ B & B for only 20 pesos, it is about an eight minute taxi ride from the bus station. You can also walk to our B & B, but if you have rolling luggage, the cobblestone streets, narrow sidewalks and busy roads make it difficult to walk comfortably. We advise the short taxi ride for your convenience, after all, you are on vacation!
If you are coming from Toluca, we recommend you take the Guadalajara Atlacomulco tollhighway, and then the Valle de Bravo exit, because it is almost an hour faster. On arriving Valle de Bravo the highway becomes Juarez Avenue. Once you are on Juarez Avenue, you will see the Arts and Crafts Market or Mercado de Artesanias on the left side. Just before the market there is a fruitshop called El Tomatito. The street between the fruit shop and the market is called Penuelas. Turn left into Penuelas until you reach a wall. Then turn left until you reach the school. Then turn right and the parking lot of Meson de Leyendas is the third door on the right. The main entrance is on the next right on Bocanegra 405.
If you are coming from the main square, we are 4 blocks from the square, on Bocanegra St. number 405. We share an office with Estafeta Courier, so just ask there for instructions.
